How to recognize real honey from fake honey

  • You take a glass of cooled filtered water and drop a few drops of honey into it; if the honey does not dissolve and sinks to the bottom of the glass, it is real honey. If the honey dissolves in water as soon as it is dropped in, it is fake honey.
  • Drop a drop of honey onto a paper towel; if the drop forms a round shape and dissolves slowly or not at all, it is real honey, while if the honey quickly thins out and soaks into the paper, it is not pure honey.
  • Put a small amount of honey into a glass, then dip a fresh green onion stalk into it and wait to see; if the onion leaf softens and wilts and turns slightly brown, it is real honey.

How to choose fresh delicious yellow oranges

  • Choose oranges that are round, firm to the touch, with a small round navel at the bottom that is well-developed.
  • You should closely examine the stem end of the orange; if it is sunken compared to the surrounding surface, it indicates a juicy orange.
  • Choose oranges with fresh skin, feeling smooth and shiny to the touch, and when gently squeezed, essential oils should be released.
  • Avoid purchasing oranges with soft, wrinkled skin and dark brown spots, as these are often no longer fresh and may show signs of spoilage or rot.
