How to choose fresh and delicious pumpkin
- You should choose pumpkins that are bright green in color, with a plump skin, and small white spots on the skin.
- A delicious pumpkin, freshly cut from the stem, will still have a bit of sap, and the skin will have a fine fuzz.
- Do not choose pumpkins that have a light green skin turning to white, or those that are too large, as these are old pumpkins and will taste sour when eaten.
- Those pumpkins that are withered, have soft skins, or strange black spots, are old and about to spoil, so you should avoid buying them.
