How to make kyoho grape jelly

  • Clean the gloves

You put the glove fingers into a bowl of white wine or vinegar for about 5 minutes to disinfect and clean the gloves.

Then, take the glove pieces out and rinse them several times with water and let them dry.

Tip: To completely clean the gloves, make sure to turn the inside of the gloves out during the rinsing process to ensure thorough disinfection and reduce the silicone smell.

  • Cook the jelly and mix flavors

Place a pot on the stove, add 400ml of filtered water and turn on high heat to bring the water to a boil.

When the water boils, reduce the heat to medium and gradually add 6g of gelatin powder and 20g of sugar, stirring continuously until the gelatin and sugar dissolve completely.

Tip: Depending on whether you want a harder or softer jelly, you can adjust the amount of gelatin and water accordingly.

Next, prepare 4 small bowls and add 5g of flavor powder to each bowl in the following order: banana powder, grape powder, raspberry powder, and green apple powder.

Then, add 100ml of the jelly mixture (about 1 tablespoon) that you just cooked to each bowl of flavor powder and stir well to combine the ingredients.

To prevent the jelly from setting, place the 4 bowls of mixed jelly into a pot and keep them in a bain-marie over the lowest heat.

Tip: If you only want to eat grape-flavored jelly, you can just use grape powder to mix. In this case, you would use 20g of grape flavor powder to mix with the jelly.

Pour each mixture into a plastic bottle with a pointed nozzle, then pump the jelly into 2/3 of each finger bag, after that you tightly pinch it and use a plastic tie to seal the mouth of the finger bags tightly to create round grape shapes.

Do the same until all 4 cups of jelly are used up.

After shaping the jelly, you place all the jelly balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the jelly completely set before enjoying!
