Lychee 100 gr Custard powder 1 tablespoon (lion powder) Condensed milk 2 tablespoons Unsweetened fresh milk 230 ml Powdered sugar 1 tablespoon (Powder Sugar) Pomegranate seeds 50 gr (for decoration) Pistachios/ almonds a little (for decoration)
How to choose fresh and delicious lychee
- Fresh and delicious lychee is a fruit that has a pinkish-red color, round shape, looks fresh, and the branch is still tightly attached to the body and not separated.
- When touched, it feels good elasticity, may be slightly soft but not mushy; if it feels too hard, it means it’s not ripe yet.
- Avoid choosing fruits that you smell sour or slightly fermented because that is a sign that the lychee has been stored for too long and is no longer usable.
- In addition, limit choosing lychee on the surface that has dark spots or tiny black dots as these are all spoiled lychees.
What is custard powder? Uses of custard powder
-
Custard powder is also known by other names such as lion powder, lion flour, or filling powder. With its main ingredients from corn starch, chicken eggs, etc., it produces fine, smooth powder grains with a distinctive ivory yellow color.
- Custard powder is often used to create delicious flavors and enhance the taste of baked goods. It can easily be seen in filling, pastry, or even for making crispy frying flour, all of which are wonderful.
