  • Cream powder is a type of finely milled powder that dissolves easily in water and has a cream color. Currently, there are 2 types of cream powder on the market: animal-based cream powder and plant-based cream powder.

  • Gelatin is a food ingredient extracted from collagen found in the bones and skin of animals (for example, pig skin). Gelatin is a type of odorless protein (sensitive individuals may detect a slightly unpleasant smell), tasteless, but can be either transparent or slightly yellow in color.
  • There are 2 common forms of gelatin: leaf and powder, both of equal quality. Note that if using gelatin powder, it’s 6gr of powder + 250ml of liquid, and if using gelatin sheets, it’s 3 sheets of gelatin + 250ml of liquid.
  • You can buy gelatin at ingredient stores or online on reputable e-commerce sites.

  • Making Coffee Jelly

    Place a pot on the stove, add 50gr of sugar and 100ml of water, then bring to a boil, keeping the heat to the lowest. Once the water boils, add 50gr of instant coffee powder and stir well.

    Next, dissolve 30gr of gelatin powder in 100 ml of cold water. Pour the hot coffee mixture into it and stir until the two combine.

    Finally, pour the coffee mixture into a mold and place it in the fridge to let the coffee jelly set.
