How to make Banana Cake baked in a non-stick pan (recipe shared by a user)
-
Arrange bananas in the pan
First, take 2 bananas, peel them, and use a knife to slice them into 2 – 3cm thick pieces. Next, spread a layer of oil or butter on the non-stick pan so that the cake does not stick to the pan while baking.
Then, sprinkle a layer of sugar covering the entire surface of the pan and then gradually arrange the sliced bananas in the pan.
-
Mix the cake batter
First, take the remaining 2 bananas, peel them, and mash them well.
Next, crack 1 egg into a bowl. To make the cake more fragrant and to eliminate the fishy smell of the egg, add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla into the egg bowl.
Then, gradually add 20gr of coconut oil, 10gr of white wine, 20gr of honey, and 140gr of unsweetened fresh milk into the egg bowl, and stir the mixture well.
After mixing the milk mixture, sift 140gr of flour, and 4gr of baking powder, then add the mashed bananas into the milk mixture. After that, mix the mixture until it becomes a thick batter.
Finally, pour the entire batter into the initial banana pan.
Tip: Using white wine will help the baked banana cake to be softer and more fragrant. -
Baking the cake
After pouring the batter into the pan, cover it with a large lid and place the pan on the stove to cook for about 30 minutes on low heat.
Note: The stove flame must be extremely low. To allow the cake to cook slowly and avoid burning, it’s better to use a gas stove instead of an induction stove. After baking for 30 minutes, lift the lid and flip the cake onto a plate, then place the plate back onto the pan and bake for another 8 minutes to ensure the cake is evenly cooked.

Final product
The baked banana cake using a non-stick pan has an extremely fragrant banana flavor. The cake is soft, moist, moderately sweet, and not overpowering, with the ripe bananas baked to perfection, complemented by a layer of sugar at the bottom of the pan creating a delicious and sweet caramel.
How to choose delicious bananas
- You should choose a bunch of bananas that are not evenly colored (with both yellow and green fruits) and have dark or deep pink spots. These are naturally ripened bananas, so they will be delicious and safe.
- Naturally ripened bananas will have a yellow stem and body. If the stem is green but the fruit is uniformly yellow, it is definitely soaked in chemicals.
- Ripened bananas will have a fragrant smell and natural sweetness, and be uniformly soft. Chemically treated bananas will feel a bit crunchy, hard, and have astringent and sour taste when eaten.
- You should not choose uniformly ripened bananas with beautifully deep yellow skins, as this is a sign that the bananas have been soaked in chemicals.
