Prepare gấc
The gấc fruit you bought should be cut in half, then use a spoon to scoop out the pulp. Next, carefully remove the seeds inside the gấc.
After removing the seeds, add about 200ml of clean water, use your hands to squeeze so that the essence and the red color of the gấc pulp dissolve in the water. Use a spoon to scrape the gấc flesh inside into the mixture of gấc pulp.

Then, put the gac pulp and the flesh of the gac peel into the mortar, and blend this mixture until smooth.

Cook the gac sauce
After blending, pour the blended mixture into a pot and put it on the stove. Adjust the heat to low, and stir gently to prevent the mixture from burning.
After cooking for about 5 minutes, when the gac sauce starts to boil, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Cook for another 10 minutes, and when the gac sauce thickens, turn off the heat.
