  • Prepare the squid

    After buying the squid, clean it, remove the black pouch and internal organs, then rub it with 2 teaspoons of salt and rinse with clean water, and let it drain.

    Next, use a knife to cut the squid into circular pieces about 1/4 inch thick.

    Spray or brush a thin layer of cooking oil into the air fryer basket to prevent sticking. Then, gradually place the squid pieces in, continue to spray or brush more cooking oil on top of the squid pieces.

  • Prepare the squid

    After purchasing, clean the squid, removing all internal organs and the black sac inside the squid, then soak it in dilute salt water for about 5 minutes, after which rinse it clean and use paper towels to dry it.

    Use a sharp knife, hold it at a 45-degree angle, and make diagonal cuts on the squid body in two directions, then cut the squid in half and slice it into bite-sized pieces.

  • Marinate the squid

    Put all the cut squid into a bowl, then beat 1 egg and add it to the bowl of squid. Next, add 1 tablespoon of rice wine, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt, then mix well.

    Add all the prepared squid into the air fryer, roast at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. Then, take it out, spray a little oil on the squid, toss it well, and roast for another 4 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius until the squid is cooked.
