How to make baked coconut cookie using an air fryer
-
Mash the butter and egg
Put 15g of unsalted butter and 125g of sugar into a bowl, and use a whisk to beat them together until the butter and sugar are well combined. Next, crack 1 chicken egg into the butter and egg mixture, and beat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is homogeneous.
-
Next, add 100g of shredded coconut to the butter and egg mixture, mix well, then add the flour, and continue to beat until the ingredients are combined. Then, add 1 teaspoon of baking powder and mix well. Finally, add 1/5 teaspoon of salt and mix well to create a smooth, sticky mixture.
-
Scoop about 1 teaspoon of cookie dough, roll it into a ball, and place it on parchment paper. Continue doing this until all the ingredients are used up.
-
Bake the cookies in the air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes, then take them out, flip them over, and bake for another 5 minutes at the same temperature for the cookies to be done.
-
Final product
The cookies are crispy, fragrant with butter, and have a rich coconut flavor. Enjoy the cookies with a bit of hot tea for the best experience.
- After making the cookies, let them cool completely and then place them in a tightly sealed container.
- Cookies can be consumed on the same day at room temperature; if not finished, store them in the refrigerator for up to 1 month, or in the freezer for 3 months.
