  • Prepare the catfish

    When buying catfish, clean the insides, cut off the head, scrape off the scales, and then rinse well with water. To save time, you can ask the seller to clean the fish for you.

    Next, wash the fish with diluted salt water and rinse several times with clean water, then let it drain.

    • Method 1: The simplest way to reduce the fishy smell of catfish is to soak the fish in diluted salt water for about 10 minutes and then rinse it clean.
