  • Prepare the ingredients

    200gr of fresh coconut meat should be sliced thickly, about 1/2 finger length.

    Peel the shallots and slice the chili thinly.

    Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil to the pan, when the oil is hot, add 1 tablespoon of sugar and caramelize the sugar until it turns a brown color.

    Then, add a bit of shallots, a bit of chili, 2 tablespoons of vegetarian fish sauce, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of vegetarian seasoning, a bit of ground pepper, and a bit of chili sauce, stir well until the ingredients are evenly absorbed.

    Next, add the coconut meat and braise on low heat, stirring for about 3 – 5 minutes before turning off the heat.

  • Prepare the Ingredients

    Wash the coconut meat, then slice it thinly about 1/3 of a finger length.

    Peel the shallots and chili, then chop them finely.

    Add water to cover the coconut meat, cover and boil on medium heat until the water boils for about 3 – 5 minutes.

    Then scoop the coconut meat out and rinse with water.

    Sauté a little cooking oil with minced shallots. When the shallots are fragrant and golden, add 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, a little water, 1 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate, 1 teaspoon of seasoning powder, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, then stir to dissolve the seasonings.

    Add the coconut rice to the pot, then pour the seasoning mixture over the coconut rice, stirring well to let the coconut rice absorb the seasonings.

    Next, add 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce and minced chili, and stir until the water evaporates.

    Add a little ground pepper to enhance the flavor of the dish.
