How to make German Beef Rolls
-
Prepare the ingredients
First, use a knife to pound the beef slices to make them thinner and more tender.
Cut the beef into small pieces, each about 15cm long.
Lightly sprinkle the cut beef pieces with salt, garlic, and dried parsley.
Next, cut the pickled vegetables, cutting each piece into quarters.
-
Roll the beef
Place a quarter of a pickled cucumber onto the marinated beef, and wrap the beef around the pickled cucumber.
Then, wrap the bacon around the outside of the beef roll, making sure to wrap the bacon in the opposite direction of the beef roll. This will help keep the roll tight and prevent it from loosening during cooking.

Beef Rolls
Put the meat rolls into the frying pan, place it on an induction stove or an infrared stove for easy temperature control. Then turn on the stove, set the temperature to high, and turn the meat rolls to cook evenly after a few minutes of cooking.
When the meat rolls turn brown, add 2 cups of water, using a spoon to scrape off any food residue stuck to the pan if there is any.
Reduce the cooking temperature, ensuring that the temperature is still enough for the water in the pan to simmer lightly, with a few bubbles on the surface, and continue cooking for 15 to 30 minutes.
Add 1-2 cups of water and ¼ cup of pickled cucumber juice after 30 minutes, continue cooking for another 15 minutes, then add the same amount of water and pickled cucumber, repeating this for 2 hours of cooking.
After 2 hours of cooking, take the meat out onto a plate, leaving the broth; this broth not only has a rich meat flavor but also the sour taste of the pickled cucumber.

Make the dipping sauce
Add 2 teaspoons of beef broth to the soup base, taste it, and if you want it saltier, add more beef broth. Next, mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water together, then add this mixture to the soup base to thicken it.
Mix the solution well and cook a little longer to enhance the flavor of the broth.

Final product
Pour the broth into a bowl, place the rolled beef on a plate, and enjoy this delicious dish with your family.
Another way to make this dish is to first preheat the oven to 180°C, place the beef on a cutting board and tenderize it, then brush mustard on it, doing the same with the other pieces of beef. Then roll each piece up, put them all in a bag, add ¼ cup of water, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
Reduce the oven temperature to 150°C, put the rolled beef in the oven, and slow cook for 1 hour. After 1 hour, chop the chili, onion, and mushrooms, then open the bag of rolled beef to add these ingredients. Next, put the bag of rolled beef back in the oven to cook for another hour, then take it out to cool for 30 minutes.
Once the meat is cool, place it on a plate; you can enjoy it with a sandwich, the meat will be extremely tender and delicious.
