Prepare the ingredients
Choose fresh leaves of Roman lettuce, remove any wilted or damaged leaves, then cut into bite-sized pieces and wash thoroughly to drain.
Remove the crust from the bread and cut it into small pieces.
Peel and finely chop the garlic, setting it aside. Keep 2 cloves of garlic for the dressing.
Squeeze the juice from the lemon and set it aside in a small bowl. Grate the Parmesan cheese and set it aside.

How to make Caesar salad dressing
Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 eggs, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt into a small bowl, then whisk together until the eggs and mixture are well combined.
