  • Mixing and Kneading the Dough

    Add 300 gr of all-purpose flour, 3 gr of dry yeast, and 50 gr of sugar into a bowl and mix the ingredients well.

    Next, add 2 gr of salt, 20 ml of cooking oil, 1 chicken egg, and 100 ml of water, and mix until the dough no longer sticks to your hands (at this step, you can use a dough kneader for quicker results).

  • Let the dough rise and flatten it

    Next, place the dough into a bowl, cover tightly with plastic wrap, and let it rise for 1 – 2 hours. After that, flatten the dough and divide it into 2 equal parts.

  • Layer the dough and shape it

    After dividing the dough into 2 parts and flattening it, spread a thin layer of water on one piece of dough and stack the other piece on top.

    Then, cut the 4 corners around the dough to form a rectangle, and use a knife to cut diagonally into small triangles and pinch the edges of the two pieces of dough tightly together so that they do not separate when frying.

  • Fry the dough

    Prepare a pan with oil on the stove until it boils, then add the cakes and fry on medium heat until golden and crispy, then remove.
