How to cook Chicken Porridge using a rice cooker

Prepare the ingredients
First, wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for about 30 to 40 minutes.
For shiitake mushrooms, soak them in warm water to expand, then cut them into thin slices. Similarly, cut the lettuce into small strips.
Wash the chicken breast and cut it into small pieces or chop it finely depending on your preference. Then, add a little salt, cornstarch, and a few slices of ginger into the bowl with the chopped chicken and mix it well. You should let the chicken absorb the spices for about 10 minutes to enhance the flavor!

Cook the porridge
Add water to the rice cooker and switch to the Cook button, then wait for the water to boil. When the water boils, add the rice and a little cooking oil into the pot, then cook until the porridge is really soft and the pot switches to the Warm mode!
After that, add the marinated chicken into the pot, use a ladle or chopsticks to stir quickly but gently and evenly.
Next, add the mushrooms and cook for another 2 minutes, then add the lettuce, season with a little salt and seasoning powder to taste, and then turn off the cooker.
