  • Prepare and mince the pork

    Wash the meat briefly with water, then rub a little salt directly onto the meat and rinse it again 2 – 3 times with water. Let the meat drain.

    Next, cut it into small pieces and place it on a cutting board, use a knife to mince finely and transfer it into a bowl. Alternatively, you can also put the meat into a meat grinder and grind it directly at home!

    • Method 1: To remove the odor from the meat, first wash it with water. Then, rub salt over all surfaces of the pork for about 5 minutes and rinse it with clean water.
    • Method 2: You can also use lemon, vinegar, or white wine and use a similar method: rub all surfaces of the pork for 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly with water.
    • Method 3: Alternatively, you can eliminate the odor of pork by blanching it in boiling water for about 2 – 3 minutes, then remove and rinse clean.

  • Cooking Amaranth Soup with Minced Meat

    Place a pot on the stove, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and heat it up.

    When the oil is hot, add thinly sliced shallots, sauté until slightly golden and fragrant, then add the minced meat into the pot and stir evenly for about 2 minutes until the meat is cooked and firm.

    Then stir gently and add the cut amaranth, continue to wait for it to boil, season to taste, and then turn off the heat. Pour the soup into a bowl and sprinkle a little ground pepper to finish.
