How to Make Purple Perilla Porridge

Prepare the ingredients
2 cups of rice (rice bowl) you wash thoroughly by hand about 2 times with water.
100g of green onions, cut off the stems, only take the leaves, wash thoroughly, and chop finely.
100g of purple perilla leaves, wash thoroughly after purchasing, then chop finely.

Cook the porridge
Turn on the stove, add about 2 cups of washed rice along with 1 liter of water over high heat to bring the water to a boil quickly, then lower the heat and continue cooking the porridge.
When the porridge boils, skim off the foam, add 200ml of water if you see that the water has evaporated.
After about 25 minutes of cooking the porridge, season with 1/2 teaspoon of fish sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, then continue to cook the porridge for about 5 more minutes until the porridge is soft then you can turn off the stove.
Tip: To prevent the porridge from burning, you should frequently stir the porridge from the bottom of the pot. -
