  • When buying, you should choose large, bright red strawberries that are plump with juice, with intact stems, fresh green leaves, and a light characteristic fragrance.
  • You should not choose overripe strawberries with dry stems, those that are dark red in color, with mottled and uneven colors as these may be bruised or spoiled.
  • Avoid choosing faded strawberries, those that are misshapen or spoiled. Additionally, strawberries with green skin and many spots should not be bought as they will not ripen after being picked.

  • How to choose good red beans

    • When buying, you should choose beans that are bright red, not infested with pests, and show no signs of mold or unpleasant odors.
    • Good beans are usually of medium size because when cooked, they will achieve better softness and flavor.
    • Avoid choosing beans that are too large because these beans often do not taste good, contain fewer nutrients, and especially tend to have a slight bitter taste when eaten.
