How to make Affogato – fresh cream coffee

Heat the fresh cream mixture
You cut the vanilla pod in half, using a knife to scrape out the seeds inside the pod.
Place a pot on the stove, add about 500ml of fresh cream, 120g of sugar, a pinch of salt, and 1/2 of the vanilla pod. Then use a flat whisk to stir and bring to a simmer over medium heat until the sugar completely dissolves.
Once cooked, remove the 1/2 vanilla pod, pour the fresh cream mixture into a food container, let it cool, and place it in the freezer for about 2 hours.
Tip: If you don’t have a vanilla pod, you can substitute it with 1 – 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. -
Whip the cream and freeze
You place a glass bowl in the freezer to chill for about 2 hours.
