Wood ear mushrooms 100 gr (chopped) White tofu 100 gr (diced) Carrot 100 gr (diced) Cauliflower 100 gr (diced) Vegetarian seasoning 2 tablespoons Tamarind concentrate 200 ml Sugar 2 tablespoons Chili sauce a little Soy sauce a little Cooking oil a little Chewy rice paper a little Chopped onions a little Minced garlic a little Chopped chili a little

How to make Vegetarian Rice Paper Rolls with Tamarind Sauce

  • Stir-fry the vegetable filling

    Heat a pan on the stove, add a little cooking oil, when the oil is hot, add green onions and garlic and sauté until fragrant.

    Next, add wood ear mushrooms, white tofu, carrots, and cauliflower and stir-fry until cooked over medium heat.

    Then, season with 1 tablespoon of vegetarian seasoning, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and stir well.

    • You can adjust the seasoning to your taste.
    • Only stir-fry the vegetables until just cooked, they will retain their crunchiness when eaten.

  • Cook the tamarind sauce

    Heat a new pan on the stove, add a little cooking oil, scallions, garlic, and chili. Then sauté all these ingredients until fragrant.

    Next, add 200ml of tamarind juice, a bit of chili sauce, a bit of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of vegetarian seasoning, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and a little roasted peanuts. Stir well until the mixture boils.
