Sticky rice 200 gr Chicken thighs 5 pieces Garlic 10 gr Chopped shallots 10 gr Cooking oil 50 ml Chili sauce A little Mayonnaise A little

How to Prepare Chicken Thigh Wrapped in Sticky Rice

  • Marinate and Fry the Chicken

    Soak 200 g of sticky rice in water for 4 hours (make sure the water covers the rice). Then, cook it and scoop a large spoon of sticky rice onto a piece of plastic wrap, pressing it thin to wrap around the chicken thigh.

    Marinate the chicken thighs with a bit of garlic, chopped shallots, 1 teaspoon of seasoning, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons of honey. Marinate for 1 hour.

    Place the chicken thighs in a frying pan to sear, and you can add the marinade to intensify the flavor. Once the chicken is seared, add a cup of water to the chicken, simmer until the water is reduced, then turn off the heat.
