Prepare the ingredients
To eliminate the unpleasant smell from the chicken, rub salt all over the chicken and then rinse it thoroughly with water, and let it drain.
How to clean chicken meat, no bad smell
- Method 1: Mix vinegar and salt in a ratio of 2:1 and then rub it all over the chicken. After that, use your hands to rub several times and then rinse thoroughly with water and let it drain.
- Method 2: Rub the entire chicken body with a few slices of lemon and a little salt, then rinse thoroughly with cold water and let it drain.
- Method 3: To mask the unpleasant smell of the chicken, crush 1 piece of ginger with a little white wine and then rub it on the chicken meat. After that, let it rest for 30 minutes and then rinse it several times with water before cooking.

Rinse the rice thoroughly and let it drain.
Peel the garlic, crush it finely. Remove the damaged leaves from the Vietnamese coriander and rinse it clean, then let it drain.

Boil chicken
Once the ingredients are prepared, place a pot on the stove with 1.5 liters of water, bring it to a boil over high heat.
When the water is gently boiling (about 70 degrees Celsius), add one chicken and one teaspoon of salt, cover the pot, and boil for about 15 – 20 minutes.
Once the chicken is tender, remove it to a bowl and let it cool slightly.

Place a pan on the stove over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, and wait for the oil to heat up before adding minced garlic to sauté until golden and fragrant.
When the garlic is fragrant, add the rice and stir for another 5 minutes until the rice grains are dry, then turn off the heat.

You add the roasted rice to the rice cooker, add 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of seasoning, and 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
