Oats 90 gr Cocoa powder 5 gr Matcha powder 5 gr Banana 100 gr Grated coconut 10 gr Coconut oil 20 ml Honey 20 ml Vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon Chia seeds 1/2 teaspoon Cheese 2 slices

  • To buy quality oatmeal, you should choose oatmeal from reputable supermarkets or ingredient stores. When purchasing, you need to carefully observe the origin, production date, and expiry date printed on the packaging.
  • You should opt for well-known and reputable oatmeal brands in the market to ensure the quality of the oatmeal.
  • Avoid choosing oatmeal with torn or punctured packaging, uneven color, or signs of mold.

How to choose delicious, quality bananas

  • To buy delicious bananas, you should choose bunches with unevenly ripened fruit, with both ripe and green bananas.
  • Choose medium-sized bunches, not too large or too small. Generally, overly large bananas may have been heavily fertilized with chemical fertilizers or growth hormones. Conversely, small bananas might have been artificially ripened.
  • You should not buy bananas that are uniformly yellow and attractive while the stems are still green, as these may have been treated with chemicals.

How to Make Butter-Free Cookies

  • Mix the Ingredients

    First, add 90g of oats to a blender and blend until it turns into a fine powder for about 15 minutes. Mash or blend 100g of banana until smooth. Cut 2 slices of cheese into thin slices about the size of a finger.

    Next, gradually add the 90g of blended oats, 100g of blended banana, 20g of grated coconut, 20ml of honey, and 20ml of coconut oil into a bowl and mix well until the mixture is combined.

    Then, add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/2 teaspoon of chia seeds to the mixture, mixing thoroughly to bind. After that, knead the dough with your hands until it becomes a uniform mass that doesn’t stick to your hands.

    Next, you divide the dough into 3 equal parts.

    Add 5g of cocoa powder to the first portion of dough and 5g of matcha powder to the remaining 2 portions, then use your hands to knead the dough until the ingredients are well mixed together.

    After that, divide the 3 portions of dough into smaller pieces of about 10g, then use your hands to shape and roll the dough into small round balls.

    Next, flatten the dough ball into a thin disc, place small pieces of cheese in the center, fold the edges of the dough tightly, and twist the dough to create a round shape or any shape according to your preference. Repeat this process with the other dough balls until finished.

    Note: To prevent the cheese from melting and oozing out during baking due to high temperatures, you should seal the edges around the dough ball tightly.

  • Baking

    Preheat the air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes. Line the baking tray with a piece of parchment paper, then arrange all the dough balls on top.

    Bake for the first time at 160 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, take the tray out, flip the cookies, and bake a second time at 160 degrees Celsius for another 5 minutes to finish.

    The cookies made from oatmeal, banana, and shredded coconut have a quite unique taste. The cookies are not as hard as regular cookies but still retain the softness and moisture from the coconut oil and banana. The cookies are free of eggs, milk, sugar, and butter, making them very low in calories. The melted creamy cheese inside combined with the flavors of banana and coconut creates a very delicious taste without being overwhelming.
