  • Prepare the ingredients

    Shrimp purchased should have the heads cut off, shells removed, and the back veins cleaned while keeping the tails intact, then rinse thoroughly with diluted salt water and let drain.

    Crack the chicken eggs into a bowl, and use chopsticks to beat the eggs until well mixed.

    Add all the flour and cornstarch into the same bowl and mix well with a spoon.

    Put the shrimp into a bowl, mix well with the seasoning mixture including: 1 teaspoon of seasoning powder, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate, 1/3 teaspoon of ground pepper. Marinate for about 10 minutes for the shrimp to absorb the spices.
