How to make Bánh bột dẹt

Prepare mung beans & steam until soft
After purchasing, soak the mung beans in water for at least 4 hours. Once the mung beans have expanded from soaking, rinse them clean and drain.
Next, place the mung beans in a steamer and steam until soft.

Blend the beans
Put the steamed beans into a blender and add 3 tablespoons of coconut milk to the mung beans, then press the blend button to puree the beans until smooth.

Make the mung bean filling
Place a pan on the stove, add the blended beans and 100 grams of sugar, and cook until the filling thickens and no longer sticks to the pan.
Next, shape the mung bean filling into balls and flatten them.

Cooking the dough
You add 1.5 liters of filtered water into 250 grams of palm sugar in a pot and stir well.
Next, you add 250 grams of dough into a bowl, then scoop each ladle of syrup through a sieve until all the syrup is used. Stir well to mix the ingredients together.
You place the pot on the stove, adjust to low heat, and cook while stirring. Stir until the mixture thickens, then turn off the heat.

Making the cake
You add a layer of dough into a bowl, then add mung bean filling in the center.
Next, add another layer of dough to cover the cake. Wait for the cake to cool and set, then add coconut cream and toasted sesame seeds on top to make the cake more appealing.
