  • Prepare the ingredients

    The first step, you peel the garlic and shallots, then finely chop them.

    Clean the coriander, then cut it into thin strands and divide it into 2 parts (1 part for the sauce, the other part for garnish when the dish is finished).

    Wash the chicken thighs, make a few cuts on the thigh to allow the seasoning to penetrate the meat and fry them quickly.

  • Make the sauce

    Next, add 2 tablespoons of chili soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, and 100 ml of water into a bowl and stir well to create a mixture.

    After you have the blended sauce mixture, add 1/2 of the previously cut coriander strands in.

  • Fry the chicken

    You take the prepared chicken thighs and coat them with crispy flour. In the meantime, place a pan on the stove, add 200ml of oil, and wait for the oil to heat up. When the chicken thighs are evenly coated with flour, add the chicken to fry in the hot oil over medium heat.

  • Cook the sauce

    Heat a pan on the stove, add 2 tablespoons of oil to sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant. Then, add the previously mixed sauce into the pan and cook for 5 minutes.

    After 5 minutes, if the sauce mixture starts to thicken, add 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and stir well.

    Finally, add the fried chicken thighs and stir well to coat the chicken with the sauce. When the chicken is evenly coated with the sauce, turn off the heat.
