Ingredients for Fruit Bowl For 4 people

Depending on the time of year, you can choose fresh and delicious fruits that suit your taste. You can select 4 – 6 types of fruit as you like!
How to prepare Fruit Bowl

Prepare the fruits
First, wash the fruits you bought with clean water, then soak the fruits in diluted salt for about 15 minutes to disinfect. After that, rinse them with water and let them dry.
For jackfruit, cut the fruit open, remove the seeds, and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
For watermelon, cut off the skin and remove the seeds (or you can leave the seeds if you prefer!), and cut it into small pieces about 1cm thick.
Peel the mango and avocado, remove the pits, and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
For longan, rambutan, and figs, peel the skin, remove the pits, and cut the flesh in half, in thirds, or leave them whole as you like.
Dragon fruit, kiwi, and bananas can be peeled or cut, and sliced into small pieces as desired.
You can cut strawberries and grapes in half or leave them whole as well!
Tip: To remove pesticide residues on fruits, place the fruits in a basin, then add 2 – 3 teaspoons of baking soda and soak for about 15 minutes.

Complete the fruit bowl
Put the fruit into a box and place it in the refrigerator for about 1 – 2 hours. After that, arrange the fruit in a bowl, add about 3 teaspoons of condensed milk, 2 teaspoons of syrup, and 1/2 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice.
Additionally, you can decorate with various types of fruit jams, jelly, shredded coconut, or roasted peanuts according to your preference to make the fruit bowl more delicious and visually appealing.
Finally, add 2 – 3 tablespoons of yogurt according to your taste, include the prepared crushed ice, and mix all the ingredients in the bowl to finish.

To make it even more delicious, you can add fresh or dried coconut to enhance the flavor of the final product.
How to choose some types of fruits:
- Jackfruit: You should choose round and even fruits, avoiding those with bumps or depressions that may be infested or fibrous; the jackfruit spikes should be evenly distributed, not long and sharp.
- Watermelon: Choose fruits with small and dried stems, round and firm skin, distinct stripes, and puncture marks. A watermelon with a deeply concave bottom is sweet and ripe; if it feels heavier than others of the same size, it is juicy.
- Avocado: Ripe avocado has smooth, shiny skin and feels heavy in hand; choose the ones with speckled yellow spots as they tend to be creamier. An avocado with a yellow stem core is just ripe and very delicious.
- Kiwi: Gently press the tip of the kiwi stem; if it feels soft, the fruit is ripe, while a hard stem means it is not ripe yet. You should select fruits with plenty of fuzz, and ensure the skin has no insect bites or bruises!
