  • It is best to choose apples that still have the stem intact, with a fresh stem firmly attached to the body of the fruit, as these are freshly picked from the tree and have not been stored long.
  • Avoid choosing fruits with brown spots, bruises, or many scratches on the outside.

  • Prepare the ingredients

    First, wash the watermelon thoroughly, then peel off the outer skin and cut it into small square pieces for easy eating. During cutting, also remove the seeds.

    Next, wash the grapes, remove the stems, then use a knife to cut the fruit in half and use a fork to remove the seeds inside.

    Peel the mango and dragon fruit, then cut them lengthwise, and after that, cut into cubes. Similarly, peel the apple and pear, remove the seeds, and cut them into small cubes to match the size of the watermelon for a more appealing presentation.

    With 2 spoons of basil seeds, soak them in 4 tablespoons of mulberry syrup so that the basil seeds, when expanded, will have a more beautiful color compared to soaking in plain water. If syrup is not available, you can substitute it with water.

    You layer the fruits into a cup, the order of layering depending on your preference. You can place watermelon in the cup first, then add a spoonful of yogurt, and repeat with the remaining fruits. One layer of fruit alternates with one spoonful of yogurt.

    Once you have finished layering the fruits, on top you add a spoonful of yogurt along with two tablespoons of condensed milk, then pour all the soaked basil seeds on top to finish. You can also garnish with mint leaves for an attractive touch.
