Glutinous rice flour 500 gr Granulated sugar 100 gr Coconut jam 50 gr Pumpkin jam 50 gr Ginger jam 50 gr Custard apple jam 50 gr Lotus seed jam 50 gr
How to Make Sweet Sticky Rice Cake

Mix the flour
Add 500g of glutinous rice flour to a bowl and mix well with 100g of granulated sugar.
For pumpkin jam, coconut jam, ginger jam, and custard apple jam, we chop them finely and add them to the bowl of flour.
Lotus seeds are added directly to the bowl of flour without cutting.
Mix all the ingredients together.

Mixing flour with water
Add about 100ml – 150ml of warm water to the mixed flour mixture from step 1. Mix well.

Shaping the dough
Sprinkle a little sticky rice flour on the surface to create a coating layer.
Place the mixed flour on the surface and knead until it forms a smooth, non-sticky dough.
Then, roll the dough back and forth to form a cylindrical shape. Cut into small pieces and enjoy.

Final product
Banh bo mut is a traditional cake of the Central region used during holidays and ancestor worship ceremonies. It can also be given as a gift to friends, making it very thoughtful. The cake is both chewy and delicious, making it a great snack for the whole family.
How to store cake
If not eaten immediately, you can wrap the cake with plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out and store it in a dry, cool place. It can be used for about 1 – 2 months.
