Seaweed 1 pack (small pack) Ginger A little Palm sugar 5 gr (1 piece) Lemon juice 5 ml (1 slice of lemon)

How to make Seaweed Jelly

  • Prepare the ingredients

    Soak 1 pack of seaweed in a bowl of clean water, then squeeze the juice from 1 slice of lemon into it. Soak for about 10 minutes for the seaweed to soften, then remove and drain.

    After peeling the ginger with a knife, wash it clean and slice it thinly.

  • Making jelly with seaweed

    Place a pot on the stove, add 400ml of water along with a small piece of palm sugar, and bring to a boil over medium heat for about 5 minutes until the palm sugar dissolves.

    Then, add a few slices of ginger and the softened seaweed into the pot, simmer for another 5 minutes, and then turn off the heat. Finally, pour the jelly into molds, add raisins into each mold, wait for the jelly to set, then cut into small pieces and store in a food container for preservation.

  • Final Product

    The seaweed jelly is completed with a beautiful light yellow color. When eaten, you will feel the crunchy texture of the seaweed combined with the sweet and subtle flavor of palm sugar and the warm aroma of ginger.

    For better taste, you can refrigerate the jelly before serving so that the jelly pieces are cool and refreshing. It is suitable for snacking or as a dessert in the summer.
