Spaghetti 300 gr Beef 300 gr Choy sum 200 gr Carrot 1/2 piece Chayote 1/2 piece Garlic 2 cloves Red onion 1 piece Cooking oil 2.5 tablespoons Oyster sauce 1 tablespoon Common spices a little (ground pepper/ seasoning powder/ salt)

  • Additionally, when buying, you should touch the meat; prioritize choosing pieces that have good elasticity when touched, and the surface of the meat should be dry.
  • Avoid buying beef that has been refrigerated, as the surface will be moist, less elastic, and slightly discolored, which makes it less tasty.

  • Prepare the pasta

    Place a pot on the stove, add about 800ml of water, 300g of pasta, and 1/2 tablespoon of cooking oil into the pot, boil over medium heat in boiling water for about 7 minutes, then turn off the heat.

    Cover the pot tightly with a lid, let it sit for about 5 minutes for the pasta to cook evenly; when you press your finger into the pasta and find it soft and not chewy, it is done.

    Then, you take the pasta out into a colander, rinse briefly with cold water, and let it drain.

  • Preparation and marinating beef

    To reduce the smell of the beef you bought, rub salt evenly over the piece of meat, then wash it under running water and cut it into bite-sized cubes.

    Next, place the cubed beef into a bowl along with 1 teaspoon of ground pepper and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, mix well and marinate for about 15 – 20 minutes for the meat to absorb the seasoning.

  • Preparing vegetables

    For the sweet mustard greens, cut off the roots and any wilted yellow leaves, then soak them in a bowl of diluted saltwater, then cut them into small pieces about 2 – 2.5 finger lengths and rinse again with clean water.

    Wash the carrots and chayote with water, use a knife to peel off the skin and shred them into thin strips.

    For the garlic and shallots, simply peel them, rinse with water, and chop finely.

  • Stir-fry Italian noodles with beef

    Prepare a large pan, then add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, heat over low heat for about 1 minute until the oil is hot, then add minced garlic and shallots.

    Sauté until the garlic and shallots are fragrant, then continue to add grated carrots and chayote. Stir-fry over high heat for about 2 minutes, then add the bok choy.

    Continue to stir-fry over high heat for another 30 seconds, then add all the marinated beef and stir over high heat until the beef is just cooked.

    Add about 1 – 2 teaspoons of seasoning and stir for about 3 – 5 minutes until the beef is just cooked, then add the softened Italian noodles.

    Mix well, adjust the seasoning to taste, then turn off the stove.

    The stir-fried spaghetti with beef will have smooth noodles, while still maintaining a chewy texture that is incredibly appealing.

    Not only that, the beef stir-fried is tender and juicy, infused with flavor, combined with fresh, crispy green vegetables. A little splash of chili sauce or soy sauce will make it very delicious!
