Beef 630 gr Butter 20 gr Minced garlic 1 tablespoon Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon Garlic seasoning 1/2 teaspoon (garlic and herb seasoning/if available) Pepper 1/2 teaspoon Seasoning powder 1/2 tablespoon Sugar 1/2 teaspoon Soy sauce 1 tablespoon Sesame oil 1/2 teaspoon Cooking wine 1/2 tablespoon Oyster sauce 1/2 tablespoon Cooking oil 1 tablespoon

  • When buying, you should press the piece of beef with your hand; if it is good beef, it will have a firm texture and good elasticity, not sticky to the hand and no unpleasant or unusual smell.
  • You should choose small and tender pieces of meat, with fine fibers, and when pressed, it should have good elasticity.
  • You should not buy pieces of beef that are pale green or dark red, with fat that is dark yellow, showing white spots on the meat fibers, and when touched, feels mushy and slimy.

  • Prepare the ingredients

    Wash the beef thoroughly and then slice it thinly against the grain to make the beef more tender when frying.

    Tip: You should only rinse the beef briefly or use a towel to dry it to avoid losing its natural flavor, which makes the dish less delicious.

    Put the beef in a bowl, add 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, 1/2 tablespoon of seasoning powder, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil, 1/2 tablespoon of cooking wine, 1/2 tablespoon of oyster sauce, and 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, then mix well.

    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight.

  • Fry the beef

    Heat a pan on the stove, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and 20g of unsalted butter, and heat until the oil and butter are hot, then add the beef to fry.

    The beef cooks very quickly, so after about 20 seconds, turn the beef over, then continue frying for another 20 seconds or until you see the beef’s surface charred, then immediately transfer it to a plate.
