How to choose fresh and delicious oranges
- Orange peel: Oranges with a deep yellow color, thin and glossy skin are always juicy. When selecting, you should choose firm fruits; avoid those that are soft and spongy as they are likely to be spoiled. For this dish, you should choose Xã Đoài oranges or Vinh oranges to help reduce the essential oils in the orange peel that can make the dish bitter.
- Choose firm fruits: You should select heavier oranges because they will be juicy. You can also smell each orange to detect the scent of ripe and fresh oranges.
- How to store oranges: Oranges can be kept at room temperature for up to a week or stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks while still ensuring freshness.
