  • Prepare the ingredients

    Remove the roots from the coriander, wash the old parts thoroughly, and let them drain.

    For fresh lotus seeds, separate the shells, remove the hearts, and wash them thoroughly. Then place the lotus seeds in a blender, add fresh milk, and blend until smooth, then transfer to a bowl.

    Add flour and stir well to prevent lumps, add 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of vegetarian seasoning, 1 teaspoon of roasted sesame seeds, then finely chop the coriander into the fish cake mixture.

    If you like, you can add seaweed or kelp, and shiitake mushrooms for extra flavor.

    • Mixing the fish cake is the most crucial step; you should pay close attention to this because it determines the taste and chewiness of the fish cake. If you do not mix thoroughly, the result will be very crumbly.

  • Fry the fish cake
