All-purpose flour (or flour number 11) is a type of flour with a high protein content of about 11.5 – 13% and is commonly used to make chewy types of bread such as bread, dumplings, or pizza. The high protein content in the flour works well with yeast to create the chewiness of the donuts when completed.

    Put 300g of flour, 3g of instant yeast, 50g of sugar, and 2g of salt into a bowl and mix well.

    Next, add 20ml of cooking oil, 1 egg, and 100ml of water, then use a mixer to knead for about 10 minutes until the dough forms a smooth and elastic mass that does not stick to your hands.

    Place the dough into a bowl, cover tightly with plastic wrap, and let it rise for 1 – 2 hours. Next, divide the dough into 2 equal parts and roll it thin.

    Next, brush a thin layer of water on one piece of dough, then stack the remaining piece of dough on top.

    Then, cut the 4 corners around so that the piece of dough forms a rectangle.
