What is longan?

  • Longan, also known as longan fruit, is a type of food made from the flesh of the longan fruit.
  • The production process of longan involves 3 steps: First, they select ripe longan fruits with thick, fresh flesh and little water to dry in the sun or dehydrate until completely dry. Then, they proceed to extract the flesh inside. Finally, the longan flesh is dehydrated at a temperature of 50 – 60 degrees Celsius, and it is ready for use.

  • Wash and soak longan

    First, wash the longan thoroughly with water, then soak for 30 minutes to soften.
