How to Choose Fresh Oranges
- You should choose yellow oranges to make orange jelly milk tea, as this type of orange has a lot of juice and is sweet. Additionally, for convenience, you can buy canned oranges at supermarkets, markets, or grocery stores to make this milk tea.
- You should select oranges with a plump, juicy skin, that feel soft and have essential oil when squeezed.
- Choose oranges that feel heavy in hand, with a balanced shape, not deformed.
- Do not choose oranges that feel mushy when squeezed, or have large bruised areas on the skin’s surface.

How to make Orange Jelly Milk Tea

Prepare the ingredients
To quickly separate the orange segments, peel the orange thoroughly, including the white pith. Then use a knife to gently separate the orange segments.
Use a blender to finely blend about 3/4 of the separated orange segments, leaving 1/3 for decoration when finished.
Next, squeeze 1/2 of the lemon to get the juice. Wash and drain the basil leaves.

Making Orange Jelly
Place a pot on the stove, turn on medium heat and add 500ml of water, then heat it up. When the water starts to bubble gently, add 2g of jelly powder, stirring until the water steams.
Next, add 130g of sugar and 10g of soft jelly powder, stirring continuously until the sugar and jelly powder completely dissolve. Turn off the heat and let it cool.
After that, add 2/3 of the blended orange juice, stir well, and then add the juice of half a lemon. Stir until the orange jelly mixture is well combined.
Pour the orange jelly mixture into a mold and refrigerate for 1-2 hours for the jelly to set.
Finally, cut the orange jelly into your desired shapes or leave them as cubes in the ice tray for a refreshing treat.

Making Milk Tea
Mix 50ml of black tea with 30ml of cream, stirring well.

Take a glass, mix 30ml of black tea, 1/3 of the remaining blended orange juice, 20ml of sugar syrup, stir well and then add ice cubes until the glass is full.
Next, add 40ml of the milk tea you have prepared. Decorate the top with orange jelly, 1 – 2 orange slices, and basil.
