How to prepare Smoked Goose Breast with Orange Sauce

  • Pan-fry the goose breast

    Place a pan on the stove over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, wait for the oil to heat up, then add the smoked goose breast and pan-fry each side for about 2 minutes until the goose breast is golden and fragrant, then remove it and let it drain off the oil.

    Next, cut the pan-fried goose breast into bite-sized pieces about 1/2 inch thick.

  • Make mashed potatoes

    Peel the potatoes, wash them clean, and then boil or steam them until cooked.

    Next, place the boiled potatoes in a blender, add 2 tablespoons of fresh milk, 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 2 tablespoons of cooking cream, and 25g of unsalted butter, then blend until smooth.

  • Making cream orange sauce

    Place a pan on the stove over medium heat, add 25g of unsalted butter, 1 cup of orange juice, 6 tablespoons of cooking cream, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of grated orange peel.

    Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for another 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  • Completion

    Place the smoked goose breast on a plate, add mashed potatoes, and sprinkle more orange peel if desired.

    Then drizzle the cream orange sauce on top, decorate as you like, and it’s ready to enjoy!
