Place the shrimp in the container.
Tip:
- Arrange the shrimp in a single layer with the tails facing inward.

Marinating the shrimp
Then, squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp, and add salt, pepper, or other spices to taste.
You can add a little water to make it easier to steam the shrimp, but do not add too much as it might turn the shrimp into boiled shrimp instead of steamed shrimp.
Next, use a pair of tongs to gently toss the shrimp so that they absorb the seasoning evenly, then arrange the shrimp as in step 1, with the tails facing inward.

Grilling the shrimp
Close the lid of the container or cover it with plastic wrap.
Set the microwave to high temperature and cook until the shrimp turn pink and the meat becomes firm. The cooking time will depend on the power of each microwave and the size of the shrimp. When cooked, the shrimp will curl up like the shape of the letter C.
