Salmon is a highly nutritious food that helps provide a lot of protein and iron for the body. One of the dishes made from salmon that is very popular is grilled salmon fillet. You can easily make this dish with a oven following the instructions from the kitchen section of TasteVN!

Ingredients for Grilled Salmon Fillet For 2 people

Salmon fillet 350 gr Chopped chives 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley 2 tablespoons Chopped basil 2 tablespoons Dried dill 1 teaspoon Lemon juice 1 tablespoon Olive oil 1 tablespoon

Tip:

  • It is recommended to use a microwave to defrost if using frozen salmon.
  • You can use a glass oven or box oven to prepare this dish. The oven should have temperature control and timer functions to make cooking easier. It is advisable to choose an oven that comes with a grill rack and baking tray for convenient cooking of various grilled dishes.

How to Prepare Grilled Salmon Fillet

  • Prepare Ingredients

    About half an hour before cooking, take the fish out of the freezer and use the microwave to defrost (or you can let the fish defrost naturally if you do not have a microwave).

    Then, chop or mince the chives, parsley, and other herbs. Next, place the herbs in a bowl and add a little olive oil to mix well.

  • Place the fish on the grill

    You place the piece of fish on the grill, then cover it with a layer of mixed herbs on top of the fish.

    Tip: It is recommended to place a tray or a bowl underneath the grill to catch the dripping fat while grilling.

  • Grill the fish

    Set the oven to 120 degrees Celsius and grill for about 25 – 30 minutes. If the piece of fish is thicker, the grilling time will be longer.

    After grilling, check the doneness of the fish. When you see the fish separating into small flakes, it means the fish is cooked; if not, you need to grill it for another 5 minutes to ensure it is fully cooked.
