How to choose good shrimp
- Freshwater shrimp are usually abundant in rural areas, especially during the month of November.
- When choosing freshwater shrimp, look for those that are still fresh, with non-bulging bellies or faded colors.
- Additionally, you can also observe the tail of the shrimp to see if it is still fresh. Fresh shrimp have their tails curled inward, while those with tails spreading out may have been chemically treated and should not be purchased.
- Moreover, the bodies of fresh shrimp are usually straight, not curled, and the heads should still be firmly attached to the bodies.
