Gelatin 10 g Filtered water 30 ml Dried grapes 100 g Malt syrup 120 g Unsalted butter 10 g Whipping cream 1 teaspoon Dried coconut flakes 11 g (can be more or less depending on preference)

How to make Dried Grape Candy

Soak gelatin
Put 10g of gelatin and 30ml of water into a bowl, stir well, and soak for 15 – 20 minutes.

Blend dried grapes
Put 100g of dried grapes into a blender, then blend until smooth.

Cook sugar syrup
Place a pot on the stove, add 20ml of water, 120g of malt syrup, and stir well over low heat until the malt syrup is completely dissolved.

Cook grape candy
When the malt syrup boils, add 10g of unsalted butter, 1 teaspoon of whipping cream, and stir well to combine the ingredients.
Next, add the pureed grapes, soaked gelatin, and stir well.
When the mixture begins to boil again, add 10g of dried coconut, mix well, and then turn off the heat.

Pouring into the mold
Line the mold with 1 layer of plastic wrap and 1 layer of parchment paper.
Sprinkle some shredded dried coconut on top, then pour in the candy mixture. Finally, just sprinkle a little more shredded dried coconut, cover tightly with parchment paper, and place it in the refrigerator for 4 – 5 hours.

Final product
The dried grape candy is soft, chewy, with a light aroma and the distinctive flavor of dried grapes. Additionally, the candy is less cloying when combined with the nutty flavor of shredded dried coconut, extremely delicious.
How to Store Candy
Wrap the candy tightly with plastic wrap, place it in a sealed jar, and use it within 5 – 7 days at a dry, cool, and airy temperature. If you want to store it longer, you should keep the candy in the refrigerator.
