  • Prepare the vegetables

    Peel the carrots, wash them clean, then cut them into finger-sized pieces and place them on a plate. Cut off both ends and strip the fibers from the sides of the green beans, then wash them clean and let them drain in a basket.

    Put a pot on the stove, add about 200ml of water, and bring it to a boil over high heat. When the water boils, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the pot.

    Next, add the carrots and green beans to boil over medium heat for about 5 – 7 minutes, then remove them and soak them in cold water for about 5 minutes before taking them out and letting them drain on a plate.
