Prepare the chicken
For the chicken, rub salt all over the body and belly, then rinse several times with water until clean and let it drain.

Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder
You should marinate about 3 tablespoons of turmeric powder on the chicken skin, massaging carefully to let the turmeric absorb evenly.
Tip: When marinating with turmeric powder, you should wear plastic gloves to prevent the turmeric from sticking to your hands. -
Boil chicken using a rice cooker
Put the chicken into the rice cooker, then add enough water to cover 2/3 of the chicken, then add 1 smashed ginger piece, 3 tablespoons of seasoning, 1 teaspoon of salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and use chopsticks to stir the seasoning until dissolved.
