How to make Salted Lemon Ice Cream

  • Mix the milk mixture

    Put 380ml of condensed milk into a bowl, then add 380ml of boiling water into the bowl with the condensed milk and stir until the milk dissolves.

    Pour the mixed milk into a large jug and add 2 packets of fresh milk, then stir the mixture well.

  • Blend the salted lemon mixture

    Cut 3 salted lemons, take the lemon peel and remove the core and seeds, then put them into the bowl, add 100g of sugar, squeeze the juice from 5 calamondins and add that in as well.

    Next, add the salted lemon and sugar mixture into a blender, add a little of the milk mixture prepared earlier and blend until smooth, then pour it into a bowl.

    Tip: To prevent the salted lemon ice cream from being bitter, make sure to remove all the seeds from the salted lemon and calamondin!
  • Mix the salty lime milk and pour it into bags

    Pour the blended salty lime mixture into the prepared milk jug, stir well.

    Next, pour the salty lime milk mixture into each plastic bag, then use a rubber band to tie it tightly, do this until all the salty lime milk is used up!

    Finally, place the bags of salty lime ice cream in the refrigerator for about 4 – 5 hours to freeze, then you can enjoy it.
