How to Make Crispy Vegetarian Pork Skin

  • Prepare and dry the rice paper

    You stack 3 pieces of rice paper on top of each other and soak them in water.

    Then you cut the rice paper into bite-sized pieces, and sun-dry them for about 2 hours until they are dry and firm.

    Tip:

    • If you want thicker pork skin, stack more layers of rice paper.
    • Do not soak the rice paper too wet, just enough to stick together is fine.
    • Drying the rice paper in the sun helps it puff up more when frying and makes it crispier and tastier.

  • Fry the vegan pork skin

    Place a pan on the stove, add about 10 tablespoons of cooking oil, and heat the oil until it boils.
