How to cook Caramelized Bananas
-
Prepare the bananas
After purchasing the Sáp bananas, peel them, wash off the latex, and let them drain.
-
Boil the bananas
Put the prepared bananas into a pot, add 1/4 cup of water (rice bowl), 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar, and boil on low heat for about 5 minutes.
To make the bananas more chewy and fragrant when caramelizing, after boiling, take the bananas out and place them in the fridge refrigerator for 5 – 10 minutes.

Caramelized Bananas
Put into pot 1/3 cup of water (rice bowl), 2 teaspoons of brown sugar, turn on the stove, and heat until the sugar dissolves.
Next, add the bananas and roll them evenly so that the sugar coats the outside of the bananas. Caramelize the bananas on low heat for about 8 – 10 minutes, then squeeze in the juice of 1/2 lime.
Continue to caramelize for another 2 – 3 minutes, then turn off the stove, transfer to a plate, and enjoy.
