Soak dried shrimp and prepare the sauce
Put 200g of dried shrimp in a bowl, then add 1 cup of boiling water and soak for about 10 minutes to clean and soften the shrimp. Then take them out to drain.
To prepare the sauce, add 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, 1 teaspoon of seasoning powder, 1/2 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, 1 tablespoon of chili sauce, and 2 tablespoons of water into a bowl, then stir well to dissolve the seasoning.

Prepare and marinate okra
After purchasing okra, leave it whole without cutting off the stem, then wash the okra to remove dirt.
Put a pot on the stove, add 500ml of water and bring to a boil over high heat. When the water boils, add 1 teaspoon of salt, then quickly blanch all the okra until it turns green again, turn off the heat, and transfer the okra to a colander.
Once the okra cools, cut off the stem and slice the okra into bite-sized pieces.
Place the okra in a bowl for marinating, add 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, then mix well and marinate for about 5 minutes.

Place a pan on the stove, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, when the oil is hot, add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, then add the prepared sauce.
Cook over medium heat until the water boils, then add the dried shrimp and stir well, then add the okra.
