How to choose fresh sticky corn
- When selecting sticky corn, you should choose ears that are long and not too large. The outer husk should tightly embrace the body, and the husk should be light green. The corn silk should be smooth and not wilted.
- The kernels should be white or have some purple ones, evenly shaped, shiny, and tender. For sticky corn, you should avoid purchasing ears with hard kernels as this is a sign of overripe corn, which will not be sweet and tasty when cooked.

How to prepare American sticky rice and sticky sticky rice

Prepare the ingredients
Divide 200g of sticky rice into 2 portions, placing 100g in each bowl. Fill both bowls with water to cover the sticky rice, adding 1/2 teaspoon of salt to each, and soak for about 6 – 8 hours. Before cooking, rinse the sticky rice thoroughly and let it drain.
Then separate 100g of American corn and 100g of sticky corn, wash them clean, and set them aside in two portions.

Mix corn into sticky rice
Put the 2 types of corn on 2 plates separately, mix each side with 1/2 teaspoon of cooking oil.
Mix 2 bowls of prepared sticky rice into the 2 plates of corn, adding 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of cooking oil to each side.
Use a spoon to mix each plate so that the corn and sticky rice blend together.

Cook Sticky Rice
Place a steamer basket on the stove, lining it with a piece of parchment paper, then gradually pour the mixture of American corn rice and sticky rice into the steamer, cover it tightly, and steam over medium heat.
After about 20 minutes, open the lid, use a spoon to fluff the sticky rice mixture, and steam for another 15 minutes before turning off the heat.
