Prepare the potatoes
After bringing the potatoes home, peel them, then cut them into strips lengthwise, and continue to cut crosswise to create long sticks about 1/3 of a finger’s thickness.
Next, place the cut potatoes into a bowl of diluted salt water and soak for about 15 minutes to remove all the starch and prevent browning.
After soaking for the required time, take them out and rinse several times with water, then let them drain.
